Could european football speed GSB selling up?/
So lets say we make the Euro league or whatever they call it now days.Sullivan is asking stupid money for the club, but this year could be the time he gets the best price/? Also the squad will need a hell of a lot of improving to fight a Euro campaign and not have a disasterous league campaign and west Ham are skint. And thirdly because of the Euro league odds are we wont do so well next year.-And Sullivan would love that new owners have a bad season as it would reflect well on him.Could the stars be aligning, lets hope so.GSB OUT.

Just my analysis of the facts in the public domain.

Given my thinking upon Lingard and Dawson you would be well advised sacking them off though

That said, I was not wrong on Nortveid, so hang on to your hat

More importantly, I trust the parrot situation is all good. Absolutely beautiful images posted

Good post but, being the pedant I am
'his days of football manager well and truly over'

No, he still holds the power and further external investment will be dressed as alternative, demonstrable interest

Sorry to be a negative bugger, it may well lead to it being over, but not at that twist

Gold's family don't want to get involved in the club. Then it's a case of does Sullivan have the cash to buy out his shares and with COVID affecting his commercial property portfolio value I'm betting his ability to lay hands on ready cash is limited. If he can't then it gives someone like Trip Smith and pals an opportunity and although he will still be major shareholder Sullivan will be very much under the microscope and his days of football manager well and truly over

Arry WASN’T persuaded.!

Arguably the biggest whitewash in our history.

Re: Could european football speed GSB selling up?/
As a club we're on the cusp, similar to the Ferdinand, Cole and Carrick days. Back then, instead of investing and pushing on, to become realistic title contenders 'Arry was persuaded/bribed to sell Rio, after which the team was unceremoniously dismantled, ending with relegation.

It's decision time for the Dildo Twins. Invest heavily in the summer whilst getting rid of the dead wood. Build the team around Rice and Soucek behind fast, skilful players, such as Bowen and Lingard, headed by a fast, monster of a striker.

If they decide not to do that then if they truly care about West Ham United, they must sell to someone who will invest.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not having a pop mate, but I'm a realist, and combining years of commercial as well as 'West Ham' experience I'm drawn to conclude that to have a change of ownership something rather dramatic need happen - something like one of the following or a combination of

* Ludicrously high offer - unlikely
* Death and surviving family wanting out - unlikely
* Relegation - now unlikely
* Collapse of other interests necessitating a sale - perhaps

But to your original question, my answer is an emphatic NO, on field success will only fortify resilience on the price
and lengthen their retention

As an aside, I have come across a few extremely wealthy people commercially, and they all have one thing in common. They love another pound and know the value of one .....
You, I and the general herd would be on a boat over blue water, giving it the big licks not giving a shit
And that is why those that are, are - they are inherently driven and combine intellect and nous with graft and greed
Sullivan is many things but he is absolutely not the clown he occasionally appears and many portray him as

Read Sung Tzu, Art of War quotes (seriously I'm not being a pompous cunt) I was advised early in my career and bought the book, it is observed and studied at Harvard and all leading business schools as well as West Point and Sandhurst

One of the quotes - 'Before fighting your enemy, know your enemy' - just like a top boxer, don't go in blind basing your approach upon your own thinking - likewise, I have given many a rueful smile when reading the 'failures' of the board

Anyway Chav mate, I have gone on far too long, good luck with your endeavors and I genuinely hope that you see the result your loyalty deserves

I know how much GSB have sold us down the river with the ground, but I’m also concerned with foreign owners American and Arabs. Never happy with our owners! Caerns brown Icelandic’s!

No, the Europa or whatever is nothing but a blight to the running of a PL club, costs more than you will return unless you reach the semis and that is fuck all unless you win it
If we get there, we will be in serious bother, so we will neither progress or have geared up for it
In the grossly unlikely case of reaching the CL, it will inflate any price asked and likewise, we will be home before the Christmas cards
Something of a shit really, best hope for change was relegation - it's all a paradox, the better we do the worse off we are

You can't honestly believe that

Are you seriously telling me that you are happy with GSB.

They are without a shadow of a doubt the worst thing ever to happen to this club.

Re: Could european football speed GSB selling up?/
You been living on the moon norway?

Our owners are a fucking disgrace in what they have done to this football club.

I'd hazard a guess you are one of the few who agreed with the move to the OS and each to their own, but they have never done anything that won't ensure them lining their pockets, while not giving a shit about progression or the fans.

Even moyes was the cheap option and one they have been very lucky with, as he's transformed the team.

As covid didn't get rid of them for us, hopefully an Arab with deep pockets and ambition will.

If someone offers 500m plus they will sell up. They can't afford this club the dwarf has made that obvious . When you moan about hotel and travel costs its over.
